On May 25th, 2012, the fifth lecture of TSVTC Lecture that was entitled “Building Your Own Pier for the Ship of Career to Dock: Career Planning and Guidance for University Students”, given by Professor Wei Aiqin from the Office of Supervisor, was held in auditorium A110.  

Professor Wei’s lecture mainly focused on the ways in which college students build the piers with their own efforts for the ship of career to dock safely: firstly, setting the dimension of value pursuit by following your inner heart; secondly, realizing that your pier could only be built by yourself; lastly, only by making efforts day by day could one build the pier.  

Professor Wei also gave four pieces of advice for higher vocational college students in terms of the design of career planning: setting a clear target and learning to design your career; working on an ordinary position without ordinary performance; devoting to study and constructing a reasonable knowledge structure; taking immediate actions to realize your dream.
