Introduction of Applied Foreign Languages and International Education School

 

The School of Applied Foreign Languages and International Education has a strong and young teaching team. There are 64 faculty members, 51 full-time teachers, 82.8% of postgraduates, and 34% of double-qualified teachers.

The College of Applied Foreign Languages and International Education now offers German (undergraduate) majors, Business Japanese, Applied Spanish, and Tourism Management. Talent training focuses on practicality, foreign language teaching focuses on the application and practice of language knowledge, and the curriculum implementation implements "foreign language + different professional directions + modern skills" to achieve multiple ability training and highlight the practicality of foreign language teaching.

The school has two public English teaching and research sections, which are responsible for public English teaching at the undergraduate and higher vocational levels. At the same time, there are two teaching and research sections of Chinese as a foreign language and general language, which are responsible for the Chinese teaching of the whole school and the undergraduate and higher vocational level.

The school has 27 training venues including Chinese Cultural Experience Center, European and American Cultural Experience Center, German Cultural Experience Center, Asian Cultural Experience Center, Tourism Management Training Room, Chinese Cultural Experience Center, etc., which are used to simulate teaching situations and create real language environments. It provides a guarantee to enable students to feel, experience and practice the fun of language learning in different contexts and relaxed atmospheres, thereby improving the effectiveness of language acquisition.
