Software and Communication School
The Software and Communication School, also honored as a characteristic demonstration software college in Tianjin, has so far cultivated piles of outstanding first-line craftsmen talents of all kinds with the construction goal of “industry-university-research-innovation-application collaboration”. The School won the May 1 Labor Prize in Tianjin in 2016.
The School has a strong teaching resources with 44 staff in total, including 3 professors, 15 associate professors, 6 double-hired teachers, more than 20 corporate part-time teachers,1 doctoral tutor and 3 master tutors.
The School has three departments: Software, Internet of Things, and Communication. There are 3 undergraduate majors in Software Engineering, Internet of Things Engineering, and Communications Engineering, and 2 higher vocational majors in Software Technology and Internet of Things Technology. Luban workshops have been set up in Cambodia and Nigeria and the recruitment of international students began in 2018.
The School currently has more than 20 scientific research and teaching experiment bases, and has built a number of scientific research and training platforms with well-known enterprises and research units both at home and abroad. Furthermore, the School has accomplished many outstanding scientific achievements.
