Days ago, in order to select several examples of foreign intelligence introduction so that they can play a demonstrative and guiding role in introducing foreign intelligence and achievement transformation, the Tianjin Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs officially approved TSGUAS, together with other four institutions, to be the first batch of demonstration base for intelligence introduction, with a period of validity spanning from November 2018 to October 2023.

TSGUAS shall continue attaching a great importance to its feature, international cooperation, and implementing intelligence introduction programs to build specialty groups with the help of foreign experts. As the first batch of demonstration base for intelligence introduction, TSGUAS will depend on Intelligent Manufacturing College as the major part of the base to expand intelligence introduction programs and deepen international cooperation on scientific research as well as talents cultivation, under the subsidized program of “Introducing creative teaching system in automated intelligent manufacturing to meet the demands for talents in China Industry 2025”issued by the Tianjin Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs. Meanwhile, a great importance should also be attached to improving both quality and efficiency of intelligence introduction, and an exploration made for the transformation and promotion of intelligence introduction. With the process going and relevant experience drawn, a model that will give full play to intelligence introduction could be shaped so as toraisethe level of talents cultivation and facilitate the establishment of a first-class university featuring applied sciences.
