Worldskills Russia was held in South Sakhalinsk, Russia from August 8th to August 12th, 2018 and Hou Shuo, a student of 2015 from UAV Applied TechnologyMajor of Aviation and Aerospace School of TSGUASwas invited to participate in the competition.

Worldskills, held every two years, is the most top, participated and influential vocational technology competition in the world and known as the “Vocational Technology Olympics”. The competition serves as an important platform for Worldskill members to perform and share the most leading vocational skills in the world. Hou Shuo, the first prize winner of 2017 National UAV Innovation Vocational Skills Competition, was invited by Yang Weiqun, the head of Expert Team of Worldskills Committee and professor of Beihang University to attend the 2018 Worldskills Russia.
