On May 12th, 2018, Vice President of Sozialdemokratische Partei Deutschlands (SPD) and other 17 visitors from International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Tianjin Municipal Foreign Affairs Office and other organizations visited TSGUAS. Accompanied by the persons in charge from International Exchange & Cooperation Department, German experts working in TSGUAS and relevant faculties, President Ms. Zhang Hua and Vice President Mr. Xu Chengying met the visitors.

Ms. Zhang Hua introduced the history, development goal, talent training, professional settings and school-running features, teaching staffs and student’s employment of TSGUAS to Mr. Thorsten Schäfer-Gumbel, Vice President of SPD. Meanwhile, Mr. Thorsten Schäfer-Gumbel also introduced the structures and characteristics of vocational education in Germany and wished to strengthen the vocational education cooperation between both sides. In addition, Vice President Mr. Xu Chengying made detailed introduction to the cooperation history between TSGUAS and German vocational education schools and teaching models of TSGUAS to Mr. Thorsten Schäfer-Gumbel who spoke highly of the vocational education after listening to the introduction.

After the meeting, Mr. Xu Chengying accompanied the visitors to visit the DMG Training Center and automobile training workshop of TSGUAS.
