From July 14^th to 27^th, 2019, Tianjin Sino-German University of Applied Sciences and South Essex College in Britain jointly held the first summer camps in the UK. The event lasted 14 days. 8 students from the School of Mechanical Engineering, the School of Art and the School of Energy Engineering participated in the event. The students received a week of English language training in the South Essex College at Southend-on-Sea and obtained a certificate of completion. They then visited Oxford University City, Cambridge University City, the British Museum, the Lake District, Edinburgh, Glasgow and other places in Scotland. They got a more intuitive understanding of the culture, humanities, natural and social environment of British universities and promoted cultural exchanges.
