On September 2, 2024, TSGUAS successfully held the opening ceremony of Cambodia New Energy Vehicle Technology Teacher Training Workshop. Leaders from the NPIC, JVC Institute of Technology, and Tianjin Sino-German University of Applied Sciences, along with nine Cambodian teachers, participated in the event.

The meeting showcased TSGUAS's teaching philosophy and the achievements of the Luban Workshop. Vice President Zhang Jinguo delivered a speech, reviewing the construction process of the workshop and the friendship between China and Cambodia, emphasizing the importance of the training. NPIC Vice President Seng Sokheng joined the meeting online, expressing gratitude for China's support and setting expectations for the training. The deputy dean of Automobile and Rail Transportation School introduced the training program aimed at enhancing teachers' theoretical knowledge and technical skills.

This training deepened the cooperation between both parties.TSGUAS and the NPIC agreed to use this training project as a starting point to cultivate more excellent teachers for future new energy vehicle technology programs, train more international professionals for the development of the automotive industry in China and Cambodia, and contribute to the sustainable development of Cambodia and the Lancang-Mekong region.
